All right, looks like we're back.

This time, instead of the DB's net interface just kinda blanking for a minute, the entire server went down. Host's management console wouldn't bring it back up. Fuckin' weird. The error message it gave was just "KABOOM", super helpful. Anyway, looks like it's alive again.

By the time I finished updating the error page, it was already back. So, uh...
