In reality, it was referring to the Egyptian gods; but the juvenile attitued of claiming "my god can kick your god's ass" was there, so it may apply to others.

You know they like that writing style, keeping it simple. Just like when they invented Superman, a character with one weakness and it depends on a MacGuffin.

The few Jewish literary characters I've seen didn't strike me as too deep, so far.

@rasterman @Ricotta Yahweh is not a god. He is merely desert spirit with delusions of grandeur and godhood. Therefore jews are godless.

@andreas_sewell @Ricotta I'm not arguing for or against its existence; but their belief in that god with its master-slave relationship has brought us the Jews we know and love*.
