Why are there so many bots making accounts on my instance?

In the last day 17 bots made an account on my instance and for some reason they even tag them selves as bots.
Why are there so many bots making accounts on my instance?
In the last day 17 bots made an account on my instance and for some reason they even tag them selves as bots.
But why? What should I do? They technically aren't breaking any rules and I don't want to close registrations. I guess I just let them artificially inflate my user count.
