@matrix @holot IMO, the easier, cheaper and more battery friendly option would be to let users log in with google and give access to their location data. It's pretty comprehensive.

@dyske @holot A total one :npc: , plus it's using Bluetooth which is trash for tracking position and distance. It's not like the government hasn't been making efforts to more effectively track people.

@matrix @holot yeah, that's the thing I don't get. Like both parties need to have bluetooth enabled. Is there a broadcast mode, or do they need to pair with everyone (lol). Next up an array of BLE beacons for more precise tracking. Paid for with taxpayer's money.
