@matrix @nekojanai @Jessica @enigmatico @papush @roka matrix.org is overflown with a lot of people and pretty loaded. Of course it can not compare to discord with its google servers it is hosted on, but yeah riot/matrix has ability to host your own instance

@blobyoumu @matrix @Jessica @enigmatico @papush @roka we had a discussion about this in #general a few weeks back, let‘s just say I can‘t confirm the resource hog claims, sure it‘s no pleroma but it‘s not that bad, I can post graphs if needed.
