SnowRunner is out but it's only on the Epic Game Store and I plan to continue the trend of not spending a single cent there.

@Mac_CZ
I don't want to support exclusives. I don't care much about the missing features of the Epic Game Store since I don't use them anyway.

@Mac_CZ
But I think that store should be competing with prices, sortiment and quality of the product and the shopping experience and buying exclusivity rights undermines that.
I understand it from the perspective of the devs, because Epic guarantees them a certain amount of money even if the game under performs. That's up for a debate if it's a good thing though.

@matrix I can understand that console exclusivity can be problem for some, because it's forcing you to buy some hardware and have it connected somewhere. But is really problem having 2 apps? In physical world you also have to go for different goods to different stores.

@Mac_CZ
Physical stores don't have an exclusivity deal to a certain good. And if they do it's either made by them or it's imposed by the manufacturer.

@matrix I'm quite sure there are exclusive reseller agreements even in physical world, especially for some expensive goods.

@Mac_CZ
The initiative for that usually comes from the manufacturer
