I still haven't made up my mind on which phone to buy even though I've been talking about it for almost a month.

Samsung Galaxy S10e looks more appealing in terms of specs and price (more storage and SD card slot) compared to the Google Pixel 4 however the front facing camera is an eye sore. The front generally looks awful. Also Samsung's ROM is a bloated piece of trash and they barely release software updates.

The original Pixel started at Android 7.1 and ended at Android 10. With Samsung, you are luck to get a one Android update (which the S10e already got)

I just realized Europe gets the shitty Exynos version of the S10e :pepeDread:

@matrix I don't have any solid reasons, but I would go with the Pixel 4.

@guru I dunno. I like the look more, but the low storage and lack of an SD card slot make me nervous (where am I supposed to fit all my memes and ROMs?)

@guru OS is 10GB + you download some apps and 2-3 modern games and you are already at 25GB of storage used in the first few hours of using the phone.

@matrix I've picked up several 64 GB phones for people I work with. No one has run out of space. I'll admit though that their usage might be different than yours. None are really tech savvy.

Our biggest issue has been streaming video on shared data.

@matrix I'm moved to Mi Mix 2 last month due to my previous phone Redmi Note 4X already had too much issues.

I've instantly unlocked it and installed LineageOS with Android Nein (10 is also available tho).

It has 8gb of ram so my stuff never unloads anymore. Battery life is a day of semi-active use, but I doubt you can find anything better. I kinda miss 3.5mm jack though.

@a1batross Looks kinda big. I'm looking at phones with Snapdragon 845 and up as mine current one has 835. 8GB RAM must be nice, the 3 I have works, but browser taps unloading is annoying.

@matrix I don't feel it too big. It's almost at same size as RN4X but has lesser frame and display looks really big.

I looked at Pixel but I've felt it's just TOO overpriced and battery is to small unless you're going to have the XL version.

@a1batross I would be going with the normal version, yeah, I feel the same way.

@matrix yeah, good luck with it :). But if you're not really going to make photos on hobby level, I don't think it worth it.

SDM845 is better than 835 but for me it's not the performance is best(especially in high-end levels) but the memory for multitasking. I don't really get why vendors are afraid to install more than 4 gigs for mid-level devices and 6 for high.

Can't say anything about Samsung though, I pretend this company doesn't exist.
@matrix I have a Pixel 2 XL. It's on the latest Android update. I expect I'll still be using it without issues for at least another 5 years. Fuck the new phone hampster wheel.
@matrix I have Pixel 4 and it's been a great phone. The default Google Launcher is shit but that's easy enuf to fix.
