Does the force with which you throw a dice or the distance it travels have an effect on the probability of getting certain numbers?

@matrix it can. are we talking regulation casino dice or just random ol d6? cause the number of pips can change the weight of a die and the bevelled edges have impefections, so certain die are more prone to certain results and impact force might contribute a little.

Just regular d6 from a board game. I tried it with a wooden one which has the dots painted on and a plastic one which has the dots cut out. I haven't counted it, but it was easier with both of them to get a 5 or 6 if I threw them with very little force and they traveled only few cms.
