Samsung announced that S10 devices are getting 3 years worth of Android updates so that means Android 12 too. 
Android phones are getting better with this. I remember when you would get maybe one security update
@matrix of course they will. Google want to make Android more shittier as possible with every update so they probably cooperated with mainstream vendors.
