Wait, Google Play Store removed Fortnite too?

What is Epic trying to achieve here? Do they expect Apple and Google to not take a cut? How are they supposed run the store if they don't take a cut?

@matrix they want the cut cut in half. Epic Store takes a 12% cut, Apple takes 30%. Epic are claiming that nothing Apple does justifies 30%. I agree with them but it's still a catfight between two big corporations I hate.

They should all be taking no more than 5%. Google Play, Apple App Store, Patreon, Steam, etc. Are all under the delusion that they are the thing the consumer wants, rather that the product they are facilitating. They do fuck all and get paid for it. 5% is generous.
