I complained about Samsung's built in screen recorder being shit and while my criticism still stands, the video it produces is actually pretty nice. 60FPS 20Mbps. Sadly it's x264 so the file size is insane.
@matrix I mean, anything you're recording on a screen can be run through FFMPEG without much trouble, so seems more an annoyance than anything.

1.In order to do that you have to move it to your PC which is annoying
2.Reencoding into a lossless codec always results in quality loss
3.The phone is fully capable of recording in x265
@matrix If you're invoking videophilia over a fucking screen recorder you've become too autistic. I use a shitty F-Droid GUI app for re-encoding videos and podcasts on my phone all the time. Every file on @stevenrecuts is from my phone.

Yes I'm because on Android 8 I used a perfect screen recording app that had it all, but thanks to fucking Google it became useless on Android 9 and up because apps can no longer record internal audio.
How do you convert video on your phone? It takes forever with FFMPEG.
@matrix Oh, Idek if it technically is FFMPEG, I never actually looked into it. the one I use is just called "Video Transcoder" on F-Droid, basically a Handbrake clone. Works well on my Pixel 4.
