@rasterman @matrix People are just snobs and rate low sports games. sports games do nothing innovative but people want to see up-to-date team rosters.

@Moon @rasterman @matrix yeah this, fans are happy to get updated rosters and some QoL improvements, it's only a yearly purchase after all, and you can resell the old one

games press etc are out of touch when it comes to the target audience for sports games and also some other massively popular games

This year the game is getting lower review scores from journos too. Usually Madden games hover in the 80s.
