@matrix No! It is very expensive because NExtcloud will do a bunch of requests to verify the file. If you use on-prem S3 like MInio, sure, why not.

I intend to mount the bucket with s3fs. I don't think Nextcloud supports object storage.
@matrix Nextcloud DOES support using Minio as the default storage. I helped test that with the minio team. S3fs is shit. Stay away =)

@matrix You are welcome. I think it is better to just use it as default storage so you just set it and forget about it . Otherwise you have the local storage and then a folder to s3 and more stuff to manage

It's something else. The config works. It can access the bucket just fine.
Nginx denies access to /data/httpaccess.txt during the initial setup based on some rule, which results in a 504 however the setup goes through and I can login just fine.
However I think that I have to use MySQL instead of PostgreSQL as everything is incredibly slow and stuff like installing apps that contain DB migrations makes PostgreSQL use all the CPU resources.
