@emilis @matrix He's not racist. He didn't know painting himself up in blackface and dancing around like a monkey was wrong at the time. Nor did he know wearing blackface while dressed as a racial caricature was wrong that other time. He lost count of how many times he wore blackface and couldn't even say the photos and videos were the only times he's done it but he distinctly remembers that he didn't know it was wrong at the time.
As long as you don't know that what you're doing is wrong, it's okay to do whatever you want. That's the Trudeau philosophy.

@emilis @matrix He doesn't. He had a famous line back during his first campaign which I feel pretty accurately sums up how he handles his job: "The budget will balance itself". He has no idea what he's doing, and expects everything to fix itself. You can't run a country on this "It Just Works" mentality.
