@fuxoft @matrix Justice Thomas is an old and not demented so he's probably heard that before. What might sting a bit more is Biden supporting the Anita Hill accusations, which were Kavanaugh-tier for their time.

- when judges are appointed to the court they naturally move left (because left is *correct*)
- the two exceptions to this are Thomas and Scalia
- these exceptions are due to these Justices being too supremely butthurt by their controversial appointments to hear reason and move left like they otherwise would have

step 1: it comes up somehow. Maybe Justice Thomas volunteers that there's some history that's unrelated to the case.
step 2: Biden's lawyers anticipated angry remarks, and misinterpret #1 as angry remarks, and deploy their strategy to mitigate Justice Thomas's anger
step 3: the strategy is it point out that Biden is too demented to remember having said any of that, so it would be unfair to hold it against him.
I can't believe that anyone is talking about Trump conceding when there's even a thousanth of a chance for the above outcome. Even if it doesn't happen, won't the court case actually happening at least inspire fan fiction in which it happens?
