"My 7 years old TV stand that was shit on launch won't run this complex open world"

@matrix darn i was thinking of getting an xbox one or ps4 to play it i dont wanna pay for a current gen and i dont have a computer that can run it either with out a bit of upgrade

@a7 Maybe get the Xbox Series S. It's pretty great bang for the buck.

@matrix ill probably just wait 2 or 3 more years till its all really cheap, i tend to not fully play games anyway.

@matrix It is unfortunate, though... I have an old PS4 kicking around I picked up used a while back, I was considering picking up a PS4 copy since I don't really have the scratch for a gaming PC. Not to mention the hassle of getting it to work through Proton.

But if the experience is as bad as people seem to be saying it is, I might have to pass on the game until I come into enough money to get a new PC and graphics card.

@JapanAnon Or just wait a bit. Witcher 3 was pretty shit on consoles too and they eventually improved it.
Cyberpunk 2077 currently only runs on AMD GPUs with Proton.

@matrix I'm sure it needs some work getting the drivers in order, though.

But yeah, probably best to wait for a round of performance patches and see.
@matrix Isn't this more a problem with the developers delivering a bad product to an advertised platform?

@rasterman Yeah, but they are reviewing the PC version and CDPR has been saying that the last gen consoles are a problem for probably a year now.

@matrix >they are reviewing the PC version

No further explanation needed. That's dishonest.

I assume CDPR will fix performance on the PS4 & XBox just as they are, hopefully, gonna fix the PC version. I've been seeing a bunch of screenshots and the game looks busted. But in a way that would be good if those bugs are fixed. Like how Fallout 3 could've been good if the writers had been fixed.
