@matrix He only read the Manifesto according to that page. The manifesto is not enough. That’s like understanding all of Harry Potter by just reading the first book. The Marxists Internet Archive has selected to few for you to get a good understanding of it.

2.If your manifesto can't do a proper TLDR then you are shit writer or your ideas are shit and you can't be angry that people don't want to read your 350k word Volume 1 
@matrix I used to have really bad obsessive compulsive problems about reading and within a month read a shit ton of that kind of shit. That was years ago. These days the fire has kind of died and don’t really identify with an ideology. It just breaks my heart to see people take a shit on something only because they have strong personal prejudices to do so rather than having it backed up with knowledge.
@Anomalous Yeah, I feel similarly when I see people trashing something and it's clear they didn't read even the Wikipedia article on it. It's just that I don't think I have seen anyone argue for pure Marxism so reading Marx isn't that effective for understanding the modern day socialist position.
@matrix What people argue for these days when they say they want what they call ‘socialism’ is not Marxism. They want reform not revolution. Marxism is about revolution, where you have a ruling party that is oppressing a class of people that work who raise class consciousness to overthrow that ruling party and establish their own.
