The left is ideologically trapped. Their framework technically has a solution to this (Asian have high income => oppressor), but their pathological hatred of white people has them unable to comprehend how would a minority attack another minority. So they still blame white people.

The oppression narrative against whites wasn't real either and even if they would get called out on this the excuse would be something like "black people were conditioned into this by decades of slavery and oppression, which still today forces non-whites into criminality, so really it is white people's fault that some black person murdered an Asian over nothing #abbolishwhiteness".
It's the same thing with islam in Europe, the muslims and feminists are supporting essentially the same party and politics.

I guess they aren't really trapped in achieving their goal of destruction, but the narrative trappings are there.
