@matrix don't worry, it will never happen because blockchain is completely broken for high transaction rates :^)
@matrix that was my exact reaction when I read that bs article

:smug:
@orekix @matrix yeaa no
the government will be able to know exactly how much you have
@bypel @matrix @orekix im aware of those, the article was about bitcoin - not monero
@orekix @matrix Imagine the out of touch retards that thought people would take this as bad.
@matrix I hadn't read the third picture when I started reading the first two and was about to make the exact same joke.

WARNING: if you continue doing this, life will get better for you and worse for us, your parasites. You do not want to continue doing this.
@rasterman @matrix it says "tax, spend and redistribute". it seems to be about life getting better for the poor, not politicians (if they are to be trusted that is)
@matrix hahahaha no, bitcoin makes it easier for the government to track you lmao
if web3.0 becomes a thing that will be the nsa's wet dream honestly, you interact with all services with one identity and all activities you do are on a ledger lmao
@matrix for them to do this little research on a major asset class tells you about the intelligence and grit of rich people lmao
@qtya @matrix some blockchains have anonymity measures. look up monero
@qtya @matrix just be quiet if you don't know anything. monero is fungible and private. no one cares about bitcoin.
@ew @matrix right so when was the last time rich people were thinking of investing in monero
@qtya @ew @matrix don't talk about monero too much that means less of it for me to buy cheaply
@chloe @qtya @matrix I don't like talking about coins in general because it's pointless. when we as a society actually start using them en masse we will all be rich because international bankers won't be able to steal your money anymore and the inequality curve will start to flatten.
@ew @chloe @matrix @qtya When have international bankers stolen money? I mean, I get that they technically can and all but have they? I'm pretty sure that's not legal in most countries somehow.
@Hyolobrika @chloe @ew @matrix the whole shtick about reserve banking is a lie, when banks create loans they also create ""money"" (credit)

@ew @Hyolobrika @chloe @matrix more like to buy land you have to enter into credit systems they control - the original sin of the new deal. Oligarchies will use credit systems to anchor up things when rates of profits fall, they always have historically

@Hyolobrika @ew @matrix @qtya i suppose overinflation can be seen as a form of taxation but i'm not very knowledgable on these things
@qtya @matrix they don't give a shit about bitcoin, they give a shit about profits. that's the /only/ reason anyone cares about bitcoin, except for the people who were hit so hard with cognitive dissonance about it being primitive first-attempt at a real currency that they became full on cult worshipers of bitcoin. there is nothing technologically interesting about bitcoin, there is no reason to talk about it at all as it's not going to be functional as a currency or for holding long term.
@matrix Buy silver too. Cryptos, silver and gold. End the fed.
