@matrix You'd have to add a fluid more dense than water to get the cremains to stick; as the particles are considerably larger than sand and do not have the same friction because it cannot form capillary bridges due to inconsistency and does not maintain surface tension.

You might be able to achieve it with glue; though, in select concentration. I would be happy to conduct such tests provided materials are supplied.
