Its a shame the PinePhone never got anywhere useful, but at least we got the PineTime.

@shebang @matrix @djsumdog idk Pinephone still has some potential and development seems active. I see things improving, albeit slow.

@SuperDicq @djsumdog @matrix I’ve largely thrown in the towel on it. A fun device, it didn’t cost me a whole lot and I had fun playing around with it so I’m not salty about it. It was purchased with “fun money” after all.

Buuut yeah things are progressing but I think the real benefit of the PinePhone will be in the next generation of Genuine Linux phones having had time to ferment a bit on the cheap-o pinephone.
