This video is just awful at explaining why some countries are poor and some rich, because it doesn't mention an extremely important factor and that is the institutions and economic systems. While geography plays an undeniable role it fails to explain huge number of the regions in places fit for growing grain that are poor or were poor until very recently (like China). Even more idiotic is the example with two countries. The manufacturing country was at some point in history in the same place as the country with primary resources. How did it get there?
