@matrix I suddenly saw this in a different angle: why do we expect great new games to be release every few years? It's because that's how it has always been with games. But why can't there be two entire generations who grew up playing the same games (that's kind of a thing in some third world places where bootleg NES consoles are still a thing). I don't wanna be anti-consoomerist here; but it seems strange that we keep expecting new titles as if we can no longer enjoy what we had and if not, maybe get another hobby for a while.
