I watched a bit of Academic Agent's stream and these tradcath larpers are like SJWs, no room for nuance, examination, self-reflection, just assert that everything old is good.
@matrix I haven't seen that, but I'm guessing it's an overreaction (in the analytical rather than moral sense) to the decay they're seeing around them. This is what happens to a lot of intellectuals during civilizational collapse - they cling to things that will make them feel some sense of order.
@matrix I find most people of every stripe aren't able to recognize those grains of truth. It's why "conspiracy theorist" is an effective takedown, I think. Everyone throws the baby out with the bathwater
