Nice. I assumed that since I'm not aware of any Mastodon that fully replaces the main UI.
Also I think I found a bug:

@sergeantcat @matrix Oh, right. Mastodon does not really have a way to save arbitrary settings without a cookie. Kind of a big limitation at the moment.

There are also ways to self-host it on a subdomain or as your main UI with Nginx trickery, although some features are still handled by Mastodon BE which has a separate login.
