@matrix @hj That image is confusing capitalism with totalitarianism. The problem I see with equity (= righteousness by definition) is that someone gets to choose what the "systemic barrier" or "social structure" or what ever is, and that will eventually just be whatever the ones in power think will be in their best interest. After all, you can do anything if it's because of Justice(tm) and on top of that you get to call anyone who disagrees a cunt for opposing Justice(tm). What bugs me the most is the deliberate obfuscation of anything that could be quantified, and terminology like "protected groups" being adopted overnight without any explanation about its meaning. That way everyone gets to live with their own version of the delusion while the ones controlling it can say whatever fits the current situation. Oh well. I'm going to the cafeteria to have some food.
