Forza Horizon 5 looks amazing. It's having issues streaming from an HDD. I guess SSD is going to be mandatory for AAA games now.
@matrix are the assets compressed?
ARK is complete ass on a HDD unless you do FS-level compression (at which point it goes from 300GB to 30GB, coincidentally) because they don't bother to compress the assets to "make it load faster"

The game runs great while looking great so I don't think they are incompetent.

Assets don't always load on time and when you go to a new scene or to a new highly populated area, it hitches, but once loaded it runs amazing.
@matrix Eh, could be worse then. I imagine it'll be optimised away over time.
Might be worth poking at though.
