@matrix Wouldn't be surprised that banks added a limit on how much you can withdraw for both your own security (banks have basically no infosec) and their own.
@lanodan Yes they do have that. And some countries make it even illegal to carry over certain amount of cash.
@matrix If the economic system is gonna collapse, buying stuff like houses, factories, boats, expensive cars, gold, … is gonna be what you would want to do anyway.

Expensive cars and boats are kinda useless unless you mean those made for survival and off the grid living, however yep, buying houses etc is the best way to retain wealth.
@matrix Not really for survival but well I guess one could buy tanks :D
@matrix the difference is that with banks, it would only be about 10% because of fractional reserve banking
