That's not Dolphin's fault, Linus. That's Linux's behavior. You need permissions to access the folder, of course Dolphin won't be able to copy those files into these folders.
You can run Dolphin as an administrator though.

I really like Dolphin but this is one thing that really makes me miss Cinnamon. The open in terminal and open as root buttons.
This is a legitimate criticism from Linus.

yeah it works, that one in specific installs a bunch of other context menu actions for dolphin so you could just search for one that just does the root one like https://www.opendesktop.org/p/1384645/ (I haven't used this one, there are many extensions like it)

you can install kde services to add that for dolphin
