Aren't Christians and mainly the
church being heretical by worshiping a cross/guy on a cross? Because the second commandment says: “You shall not make for yourself a carved image—any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them.”

@matrix There was an iconoclasm over this, it got supressed. Then the reformation claimed that the catholics were actually pagans and not christians for these type of worships, so they removed all of the saint statues, mariology and other things.

@orekix Oh right, I don't remember that from school. I remember that it was mainly about priests taking money for absolution of sin.
