So I already knew about the insanity that are suicide showers and always had a feeling they don't heat up the water very much, but now that I've seen the math, it's quite clear they are absolutely useless.

@matrix I have one and if I set it up badly I get skin burns
@matrix Also, there are different qualities and cimpatibilities. Once I had one that was not compatible with my electrical system and it was cold af all the time

Not really. They work well enough if you live somewhere where the water never freezes. Though you are coupling the water temperature with its flow (more water = less hot) unless you buy a fancier electronic one (those are expensive and don't last)
