@matrix that sounds about right. My 100+ year old German equipment lacks this issue. Funny how some countries have a better reputation in manufacturing.

A probably original part on my beetle broke this week and I paid extra fora German replacement for a reason. For some reason it seemed better than trying to trust chinesium.
