@matrix the first five books are the books of Moses but most scholars think that it was written down muuuuuch later by someone else (who knows things about stuff that happened after Moses)
@rdr @matrix that makes sense. Oral history later transcribed.

I don't think a bunch of slaves escaping would really have the means to write stuff down.
@matrix @sjw @matrix @rdr Well Moses wasn't so much a typical slave since he was raised by his mom near the royals since she was the princesses attendant. Also he had to have been able to write since he came down with the stone tablets from the mountain
@reloadedAK @sjw @matrix >god writes tablet for moses
>moses takes it back to the people
>"sheeeeit we illiterate and shit gonna worship the golden calf"
@matrix @rdr @sjw @matrix "Could you stop worshipling hedonistic idols to Moloch...

FOR FIVE MINUTES?!!"

To be fair though I think Moses spent like a month on the mountain so he was doing some note taking up there
Moses

@matrix >So Moses the servant of the LORD died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the LORD. And he buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, over against Beth-peor: but no man knoweth of his sepulchre unto this day. (Deuteronomy 34:5-6, KJV)
