That's the second project that tried to use the fediblock name, got called out, and rather than apologize for the oversight and collaborate with the creators of it, they changed the name and whined about how they were mistreated.
That clearly indicates they do not want to help the fedi. They just see an opportunity to cash in and make a name for themselves on the backs of other people's work.
People keep saying they don't want the fedi to be like Twitter but their actions consistently show otherwise, in the most bigoted ways possible.
Many people coming to this space do not see an opportunity to create an entirely new way for us to connect but rather a means to build their reductive version of social media that they can control and dictate.
It's unfortunate, but many people do not want to improve the fedi. They want their mini versions of centralized platforms.
