@matrix MVG be like "nintendo is bad but i still gona make games for their platofmr"
@hj @matrix he is just a typical game console fanboy.
Stopped watching his videos because of this.
@a1ba @matrix i stopped watching him because he's a corporate shill. Remember when he promoted raidy-shaidy? Like, completely, unironically. This man lies with a straight face.
@matrix @hj I don't usually care about promotions like that really, because I can skip it, and there is also SponsorBlock.

But it's all a scam, and promoting scammers is bad.

@a1ba @hj What do you mean by scam? I've seen worse product then Raid get promoted.

@matrix @hj mobile games like this are specifically crafted to be addictive and squeeze player's wallet.

It's not a scam per se, but I think it's very much close to it.
@a1ba @matrix it's not much different from your typical casino, offline or online. Not saying that it should be banned but it definitely should be regulated and not advertising it would be one aspect of it.
@hj @matrix @a1ba Or the advertisement should come with a clear warning against ~addiction, like done for any ads about alcohol here. (And IIRC tobacco ads got banned)

@a1ba @hj Oh yeah, I absolutely agree these games are blatant gambling hiden behind "gameplay". Just that when someone says scam I imagine the thing advertised is either cheap crap sold at 10x mark up, lied about, has literal 0% chance of being won or they just take your money and run.
