I could see it. American men are constantly the subject of hatred and ridicule in the US media, and soldiers get it even worse. Anime has guys doing guy shit like fighting and has supportive female characters and teamwork- it is deeply saddening that for so many young men, the American Dream has become just that someone might be nice to them someday instead of blaming them for everything that has ever gone wrong for the entirety of human history. There's a real reason why a lot of us would leave pretty quickly- if there was anywhere to fuckin' go.

(And no boys, you can't just move to Japan- it's a little archipelago, and you'd sink it. We'll get this cleaned up even if it takes me until my final breath.)
