@matrix that's dumb. I grew up poor as well but I was breastfed until I was 14. Lactation can go on indefinitely provided that mother's milk supply is drained. A woman doesn't need to be constantly pregnant to lactate and pregnancy itself doesn't trigger natural lactation. Giving birth does. But there are ways around it that don't require pregnancy at all.
