The new bitter respawns and evolution are kinda insane :coconaSweat:

@mangeurdenuage Bigger groups spawn with more health and more powerful types as pollution increases. They also expand more with more pollution.

@matrix Wasn't that already a thing ? Group migration did exist I recall. Or maybe they were just more aggressive depending on the pollution, idk

@mangeurdenuage I dunno. I just don't remember them being so aggressive and numerous in 0.17.

@matrix @mangeurdenuage I'm keeping the pollution low enough to let it absorb without destroying trees - currently at 12 furnaces afaik, amassing plastic so that I can make modules for miners and then the tier 3 furnaces. once in a while I rev up the car and destroy the nests on my radar, so far I haven't had any actual attacks
@matrix @mangeurdenuage after my last world (2017) being a deathworld with large ore veins and constant warfare, it's quite refreshing

@grips @mangeurdenuage
That feels kinda slow. I have about 25 electric furnaces and about 45 miners and I still feel like I'm progressing too slow.
But I understand why you're playing slow and peaceful, I just added tier 2 productivity upgrades to my uranium mine that hasn't been attacked once in the last 40 hours and it got attacked like 10 minutes after I put them in. I think it doubled in pollution.
I think I now realize that the reason why I'm surprised by the bitters is simply because I wasn't polluting a lot when I played it in the past.
