My internet connection has a top download speed of 200 Mbit/s.
Pretty much every internet service I download a lot of data from (debian CDN, Steam, GOG) limits me to somewhere between 2 and 10 Mbit/s.
What even is the point of Gigabit internet connectivity?
@matrix True, when downloading isos via BitTorrent, the downlink saturates.
As for multiple people, that'll become relevant in a few years time when the kids are old enough. Until then, I won't lose any sleep over my connectivity :D
