I think I found a bug in my motherboard's BIOS. When you have a drive with a unformated uefi boot partition plugged in, the whole computer freezes when you try to enter the bios setup.

They also memory holed the bios revision I'm running. No Gigabyte, F36d couldn't have come out September 18th since I downloaded F36b September 29th.

Also Windows disk manager fucking hides partitions from you and doesn't let you delete system partitions! Windows sucks so fucking much :kms:

@matrix https://gparted.org/livecd.php This has saved me multiple times. It hasn't been updated for years, but for basic partitioning it still works fine.

@phnt I can't open the boot menu or BIOS screen. I would have to unplug drives (a lot of work because they're NVME).
I think Windows has some cmd tool that should let me do it.

@matrix The Windows utility is called diskpart I think. At this point I wouldn't be surprised if even that decided to hide partitions.

Yeah, this is the reason why I always set USB boot ahead of HDD boot on desktops.

@phnt ok, diskpart let me, you just select the disk, type clean and it nukes the whole partition table
