@feld I wonder if AI denial is hurting free software or not. Maybe it’ll just lead to a bunch of forks that go at 5x the speed of their roots.

to me there's a massive difference to letting "AI" code everything, and telling it to go look for issues with existing code
the latter is not the worst idea tbh, more eyes, more tests

@p @feld no, this is not true. Ai is much better than the average open source contributor these days
