@phnt @matrix @newt I was never able to get any sort of open-source shitware-alternative to work properly. r*zer was especially bad for that because some of their shit flat out would not work without it.
It's hacky at best. I just don't want to have any sort of userspace daemon running to have my hardware just werk™
@VD15 @matrix @newt My G502 had internal settings memory, so you would download the shitware once, configure it how you wanted and then never used it again. But somewhere in the last decade Logitech decided to ditch that apparently, since my mx master remembers nothing and needs to have the app launch on startup for the settings to apply. So unless the default settings are fine for you, you are screwed and need their shitware.
