People are panicking and buying stuff so fast that it's physically impossible to restock the shelves fast enough. Checkmate capitalists.

@Ricotta @rasterman They returned like a week ago and they were supposed to quarantine themselves. It's true some haven't and even lied to doctors that they weren't there. That's how one nurse got it.

@isi They don't usually go back though.

@rasterman How bad is where you are? Quarantine is a bit extreme in here as we only have 189 cases, but if I'm eyeballing it correctly, it's one new case every hour. Hopefully quarantine will stop the spread. Vast majority of the sick got it in Italy on vacation, so if they don't spread it, it should be fine.
