I can't tell if it's worth waiting for the remake. Story wise it looks like it will be the same.

The third one is the worst of the series. The story bits are good but they are few and far between and most of the game extremly padded out with boring grinding.
The first one is the best one however the gameplay hasn't aged the best and can be a bit clunky. The second one is still pretty good and the gameplay is modern.

The funniest part in this gameplay is how Tom is dragging wounded Sam and there's a first aid kit next to them but they don't acknowledge it at all because it's a gameplay element

I'm not sure how I feel about Mafia Remake's gun play being like Mafia 3. I think Mafia 3 had fun responsive gunplay but I think it was too fast. I'm not sure running around super commando style fits Tom's character.
