You are born with your inalienable natural rights however that doesn't nobody is able to infringe upon them. That's why you fought for independence, you fought someone who was infringing upon your natural rights. That's why the founding father's formed the US. To create a mechanism that would protect those rights.
And Jefferson's draft didn't mention God.

- do you have separation of church and state in israel? can you freely practise any religion you wish, or denounce judaism?
- can you freely speak out against your government?
- can you freely report on whatever you deem newsworthy?
- can you freely go outside, hold up a sign with whatever goddamned beliefs you have, and protest?
i'm absolutely SICK of hearing retards talk about my nation as if the first amendment is just a fat fucking n-word pass and a way for skinheads to fly nazi flags. you dont fucking know what liberty is if you think that of all reasons is why we fucking defend it, and you dont fucking understand anything about it if you tell me that i dont have true protections under that "piece of paper"
