I so wish security takes would be based on user experience.
Can a user on a touchscreen device read the URL they would ~click on? No, you just lost like half of the web.
Are most URLs even readable? Nope, thanks to URL shorteners.
Can people other than developers read the different parts of a URL? Vast majority doesn't and when it comes to phishing… your brain is going to trick you by auto-correcting typos.
Can a browser make the different parts easier to read? They've been doing it for the current location like a decade ago, sadly they haven't done that in the tooltip yet.
And so on.

E;R's latest Whorra video and his comments about Tenzin reminds me of how modern Western writing, with its girl power Mary Sues, completely screws over traditional Mentor characters. Obviously a Fucking White Male has nothing to really teach a Strong Independent Woman, so instead of taking up what *should* be his role, the would-be-mentor character instead ends up portrayed as an out-of-touch loser, or a bitter, broken failure of a man, who of course has to be saved by the Mary Sue.
Contrast this with Shulk and Rex in Xenoblade 3 Future Redeemed, who actually ARE allowed to become the leaders and mentors you'd reasonably expect them to be. Not perfect or all-knowing, but still genuine great and good men possessing lots of special knowledge, who the younger characters learn a lot from.

@Moon Supposedly some US doctor over 100 years noticed that jewish women had less gynecological issues so he figured it's due to them being circumcised, but I haven't looked into it and the guy I heard it from was a young earth creationist so...

Noticed that mastodon.social has become the origin of bot spam waves? This was all Gargron's plan when pushing mastodon.social as the entry point for the Mastodon Network 
so there is only a single instance to block to get rid of the spam. Thank you for the sacrifice ❤️
@Reiddragon@mk.absturztau.be I assume it's slower because there isn't hardware for it. However you are right about poor maintenance.
