...Give it a minute. Every time a new wave of Twitter and Gab refugees comes here, the place gets angrier. I think the issue with Twitter is all the performative culture war bullshit, and people used to come here, try that, and no one else was worked up about it so they'd either figure out how to chill or they'd go away. Fedi seems to have a critical mass of people that are doing that kind of thing now, so when other people show up, there's a lot less "No one cares!" and a lot more "$current_thing?! I can't believe you! Hey, everyone, look how shitty this guy is, he loves $current_thing, he's a $current_thing supporter!"
