@igeljaeger But that's not the main reason they don't do it.
@igeljaeger Car mechanic is still pretty physically demanding. Car parts are heavy.
Maybe making up shit about how certain fields "jUsT HaTe WoMeN" makes women give up, because they think that all their efforts would go unrecognized.
The more time and money they spend on getting women into computer & information sciences, the fewer women actually sign up for that.
