Edgy left now crazy about a riot police skin for an overwatch character? Yeah, all is fine, I'm sure the rule of whoever can put together a nastier and more violent lynch mob is the proper democracy and only a fascist bootlicker would disagree.

I had heard of Mastodon before but never Pleroma, Pixelfed, Misskey etc. Nor had I heard of fediverse, instances, nor really any idea how this was all decentralized & interconnected. Now I know this is out here & a different alternative to mainstream social media in a way that things like Gab & Minds are not. I feel lazy on my part for being in the dark on this for so long, but I also realize most ppl are in the dark about this still.

Among people who complain about censorship on social media & want alternatives, I think lots would sign on for the fediverse if they really understood just how different it really is. Hopefully I can convince some of my e-friends I know via other places to join here or on another instance.
