Why is it that the majority of the far left will openly display the fact they've been offended or in some other way had their emotions hurt in order to make a point or form a call to action, but upon actually confronting them they act as if they are emotionless via method acting as surrealist or otherwise detached or ironic? (Though really, this isn't even exclusive to any political movement. Plenty of "world weary" people out there who claim nothing is worth being invested in, a guise for their inability to self actualize.)

My confusion is further compounded when I also notice that at the same time, they consider lack of empathy to equal something along the lines of being authoritative and policing others, that in it's own right the concept of lacking the ability care is directly related to evil. (In reference to the far left majority)

It comes off nothing more than this: "You aren't my ruler, my insecurity is"
